Multi Rows

I have been using litestep for a while and am just palying around with objetdock. I currently have a row of icons some of which are direct shortcuts to applications and others shortcuts to groups of apps. when you hover on a "group" icon it shows the appropriate second row of icons. I'd like to duplicate this in objectdock if it is possible. Below is an example, it is shown vertically, but on my screen the rows are actually horizontal.

[email]
[internet]
[photography] ->
[DVD] ->
[Control Panel]
[Recycle Bin]

Hovered on photography becomes:
[email]
[internet]
[photography]....[Photoshop]
[DVD]................ [Paint]
[Control Panel]
[Recycle Bin]

Hovered on DVD becomes:

[email]
[internet]
[photography]......[DVD Shrink]
[DVD].................[DVD Styler]
[Control Panel]....[Nero]
[Recycle Bin]

It sounds like you want a flyout menu, which can be done in ObjectDock Plus.

Right click on the bar, go to Add > New Custom FlyOut. After that it speaks for it's self.

alright...now were getting somewhere. 2 more questions:

1. Is it possible to make the flyout menu appear like the first row instead of a semi circle of icons?

2. For one item in the flyout, when clicked I would like it to simply look like a menu...is this posible?

Not at this time

Not at this time.  All sub-folders are flyouts also

Have you looked at simple menus?

Take a folder with a sub folder in it.  Drag it to the dock.  Right click and choose "dock entry properties" Check the option for "show folder in a menu"

You can build yoru menu structure in "My Documents" and then just link it to OD.  Not as pretty as the flyouts, but very funtional.

1) No.

2) Only setting is in General, Miscellaneous Options; can select to show flyout as a normal menu when contains more than 80 entries. This would affect all items with over 80 items, can't selectively set for individual items.
