install Stardock Central from HERE
Under the tools menu click Register Products and follow the directions.

Load up Stardock Central, put in your purchase information, and it will update you to the latest version.

How didn't it work? If you enter in your email and serial that you used to purchase Windowblinds, it will give you the option to update to the latest version.

That seems to be your problem right there.  Warez copies can be filled with all kinds of problems including spyware and viruses.  I would suggest uninstalling and doing a complete system scan.  If you like the software your best solution is to buy it, and then you can be assured you will have a working copy.
