Make the skin and put on my program

Hi guys!

I have complete the design of the skin and i have saved to USF. All i would like to know if it possible to put the skin on my visual basic win32 form then the skin will load up??????




Let me know how i could do it

Not sure what you are asking but as far as I know the only way you are going to make a skin for WindowBlinds is in SkinStudio.

no idea stephen, sounds to me like your doing it the hard way, when for 20 dollars u can have a program that allows you to set skins with one click and no messing around with VB or anything else

Yes, there is a self-contained program called 'DirectSkin' that enables software companies to add skinnability to their applications...without Windowblinds installed.

That is, if I have read your request/query correctly...

You cannot as such.  It is a proprietary format, a product for providing skinning solutions to Other companies' software/programs....eg. Powerdesk Pro uses DirectSkin.

If you wish Stardock to provide you/your company with the software-skinning solution contact sales@stardock.com ....they'll be able to assist....

People are always willing to help as long as they understand the question. If they do not understand then maybe you did not ask the question in the correct way. Does that make you Stupid? No! So don't call other people stupid when they are trying to figure out your question. The way this site works is try to be nice and I guaranty that you question will be answered. Thanks for your respond guys, i'm sorry but we was lost when i found something confused so won't be rude and happens again. Thanks for advise me, i have downloaded directskin but i don't feel good with it. Are there any other applications that will let me to make my own skins for vb???

Directskin is the best way to attain your goal, your not going to find anything "easier" if that's what your looking for.

Stardock DirectSkin is the only way you will be able to use a WB skin with your VB application without having WB installed.
