No SysTray...

What is MCP Service required for it?

Hi,
I just switched to a new machine and installed DesktopX with my theme.
The systray object has disappeared. I still have the taskbar though.

After looking for systray on the StarDock site, I read a post that says
that the systray needs the MCP Service to be running to work correctly.

Question is: what is this MCP service? If I look at my services on XP,
I don't see anything like MCP. Should I install it myself? If yes, where
do I find it?

Thanks for any help
Steve

open Stardock Central > tools > settings > general > enable MCP notification area support

it's what pulls in the systray info for DTX, Object Bar, and earlier versions of Object Dock

Ah ok thanks.
I enabled it and also found a link to download mcp so that it can install on the system. I needed it. Now everything is fine.
Thanks
