I'd leave my mark in this thread, and on a certain poster . but i have had my ass chewed by Kryo once for voicing my opinion on this disrespect of national holidays, in a most vocal way, so i'll just add that to anyone posting about how they don't care about days like memorial day and the like just remember. You have the right to say that you don't care because of the actions taken by those we remember on Memorial Day, Rememberance Day, ANZAC Day ect.ect.

Your freedom's of speech came at a hefty price, no matter where you live, it's not much to ask that for a few moment's a year we take the time to reflect and honour those brave souls.

Our Anzac day memorial speech for Australia

I think it is interesting that at the same time we remember our lost soldiers, so do the countries that were our enemies. In particular i would draw attention to our Anzac day dawn ceremony in Turkey, and we pay respect to each others lost soldiers. There is no question of who was on the right side, we are just there to remember our lost soldiers who gave their lives fighting wright or wrong for what they believed was a just cause.
