How to configure ZoneAlarm?

I just installed Multiplicity, but I cannot seem to figure out to instruct ZoneAlarm to play nice. In program control, I have already checked "allow" but that has not help. This is on the secondary pc. My curser will not leave the screen of the primary pc and travel to the secondary pc if I leave ZoneAlarm running on the secondary pc. What do I do?

I use Zone Alarm v7 (the free version) with Multiplicity with no problems at all.

1. The machines which communicate with each other via Multiplicity are in each other's trusted zone.

2. The multiplicity program has trusted-zone access as both a client and a server.

3. To enable access to the various alerts, etc. which might appear on the secondary machine, you need to unlock the Zone Alarm client. To do this (at least in the free version anyway):
3a. Open up the Zone Alarm Control Center
3b. Click "Overview" menu item (top item in left sidebar)
3c. Select "Preferences" tab
3d. Under the "General" options box, uncheck the "Protect the ZoneAlarm client" option. Accept change if a "Save change" box appears.

HTH...
