Weather Feeds "Not Available"

Is it just me?

Team-

I'm using StarDock 1.90 v.534- free version. I have two weather docklets, but for a couple of days now they have been unable to recieve feeds from Accuweather...is anyone else experiencing this, or know what the problem is? When you hover over the docklet it simply says: "Feed not available, try again later..."

Thanks in advance...
Smohrman.

Hi Guys,

We're actually in the process of greatly improving the system. Should be back and fine for now. The next few weeks you might see occasional issue...and at the end of it we'll be doing an update. Updating the system to be significantly more robust & do a better job at finding cities, provide the most up to date information possible, etc

Hmmm, I'm still having the same problem . Guess I'll wait for a formal update.

Another tip...exiting and re-starting ObjectDock can help. I'm feeling that something is getting stuck when it hits a bad feed

Hmmm... 26th of May and still not working.

Anyone found a fix for this yet?

Hi Frogboy, I'm near Glasgow, in Scotland. I have already tried the close & restart thing, but no joy...

Sooo... any news on this problem? When you asked me where I was located, I thought you were going to come back with a swift "Hey, do >this< and it'll all work fine!".

Try Glasgow, UK

Ha! That worked... thanks a bunch Hankers.

I had previously tried my postcode, tried "East Kilbride, United Kingdom", tried "East Kilbride, UK", but nothing... until now. Glasgow is only 8 miles away, so it should be accurate enough. Thanks again.

Good news! East Kilbride, UK is definitely available with the improved weather docklet that will be available in August, along with many many many additional international locations.

It is also incredibly less finicy about how you type it in. For AiTakahashi's example you could type any of the below to get it to work: "East Kilbride", "East Kilbride, UK", "East Kilbride, United Kingdom", "East Kilbride, England", "East Kilbride, Scottland". Not bad?

Expecting someone to fix this ASAP.Thx!

The best thing to do is to exit Object Dock and restart it and all should start working again.

Since this has been like this for over 6 months, I wouldn't expect this to be fixed that quickly.

Hi,

i have the same problem in Aalborg (or Ã…lborg) Denmark. I can see the surrounding cities but not mine. It was like this since i installed it.
(I use ObjectDock 1.90, build 526, free version)
Thx.

It works in the beta Plus version.  Which means that when it (the Plus) leaves the beta stage the free version will be updated and that city will work.  If you want that city (and a bunch of other great features) you can purchase the Plus version.

Using latest ObjectDock version here still not getting the weather for Adelaide, Australia and haven't been for the last few versions of objectdock. Tried other major Australian cities and only get a few of them all the rest come up try again later.

I typed in Adelaide and got a ton of options (many of which were in OZ).  Give that a try.
