Audio icons 'stuck'

Hi, I have a slight problem!
The icon for my audio files (.aac, .mp3 etc) seems to have got 'stuck' on a theme I'm no longer using! Everything else has changed, I even tried switching back to the Windows default icons to see if that helped, but to no avail...
I've tried several different themes, but nothing can get the icon to change!

did you try the rebuild and repair options after switching back to default?

which version of IP? (help > about)

I've just tried that, but I'm afraid it didn't help...

It's version 3.20 (x86)

Thanks for the help!

any other icon software or graphics program that may be holding the association?

I don't think so!

Unless it's something to do with Winamp?

possibly

I don't have winamp so I don't know where to look - but there's gotta be a setting in winamp to take winamp off the default association

I'll have a fiddle around and see what I can find!

It's odd though, as they've stuck on the ones from the theme 'Da Blue 2006' rather than the Winamp icon...

Thanks for being so helpful! You're a star!

Me have problem too...I manually change mine to an icon I made but they keep switching back to the media players default icon.

I dont want to disassociate the format from the player but how do you get it to stop changing back?

In response to this guys question...right click the file and go to properties>icon tab>restore default...if that dosnt werk,go into IP settings and see if you have the option for restore all icons set in the applying icons section of settings.

Hello all, i have the problem for all audio icons speciall mp3, they are associated with winamp but have the default vista icon and i already tried :

- Repair cache & images
- Associated with another program then back to winamp
- Reinstall winamp & IconPackager
- Tried to delete the format file then create it back

Nothing solved this & i have the ugly mp3 icon....
