Games for Windows May 2007 issue, 3 page spread!

I'll post pics asap, unless someone beats me to it!

SoaSE is in the May 2007 issue of Games for Windows Magazine!

There is Vasari information I've never heard mentioned before regarding gravity wells!

Some secrets about all ships moving faster in the gravity well!

A certain race can force your ships to fire on a certain target reducing overall damage to their fleet!

There is a picture of a (might be Advent, not 100% sure), that I've never seen before. It looks like a SUPER CAPITAL SHIP!

It is mentioned attacking trade ships is profitable!

I hope I didn't give too much away... I kept it as general as possible! As I am guessing they want people to buy the magazine!

Just got my copy of GFW mag and did anybody else notice the differences in the the first 2 page spread screenshot with regards to the icons around the planets? Was that an old build or a new one (or is that an selectable option I haven't seen)? I like the way they look now, so I hope it doesn't change.

Slim:

It was an old build, before the pips around the planet were changed to their current state.

Well I thought it would be worse..... here are the pics, I removed almost all the text sections, so if you wanna read it, umm go buy the magazine or maybe someone will have the energy to type it up

** Yarlen threatened me with death if I didn't take all the text out....

Super edited pictures with "green box shield"(tm).

It wasn't death, just physical harm!

the ship in the center-right hand box of the bottom picture:
SWEETNESS

oh goddammit IC! release the advent already!

Finish the TEC, then the Advent, and well who cares about the Vassari (just joking). Always wanted to take on intergalactic hippies!

I can't understand why he isn't allowed to talk about the new info... Scans/pics of a magazine seem much more problematic concerning the rights than typing a review of what he read! I've never heard it would be forbidden to talk/write about a content of a book and I don't think it's much different with magazines.
He can talk about it all he wants, but he can't quote verbatim sections of it, nor do we want him putting up a readable scan of the text.

What about a sound recording of me reading the text ? Not that I have the time nor energy to do it...

Just read it today, at the bookstore. Of course didn't need to buy it.

Things I remember:

The Vasari will be able to manipulate the gravity wells of planets, allowing them to jump in and jump out closer to a planet.

Their will be tech making it profitable for people to destroy or "raid" trade ships

Is the interface in the mag newer or older or optional?

More talk about being able to control as much as you want. From emperor ala "Palpatine" or all the way down to micro managing your units.

The TEC are the lowest on technology side of things, Advent the middle, Vasari kick ass (And the V's also know a lot about phase and gravity manipulation)

The Vasari are running away from something the devs have classified. Even uses the term in the magazine. So maybe their enemies show up in some fashion or another.

The magazine features an outdated interface.

How uber high res were those shots? The interface is tiny!

I'm gonna have to pick up this GFW between this and the Opposing Fronts stuff

then your picture must be kinda smaller, since it has to fit into a smaller screen then. But what ever, as long as we can have the 1680x1050
