WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 94 x86)) does nothing

any selected skin goes to classic skin

Hello Forum,

I've just bought Object Desktop. I've never had any other version or trial installed before this one.
First I've tried to apply a theme with the Theme Manager. A popup came up saying downloading..installing...and while applying then got stucked.
So I've figured that it was WindowsBlind, I've opened it and tried to apply any skin. It took a while and I've got classic skin and the WB config window turned white (nice & shiny). The cursor turns to an hour glass inside that window but it does not eat any CPU time. Looks like some waiting loop or timeout problem. I've waited for over 10 minutes and then killed the process. I've installed everything again with same problem.

Any suggestions ? Thanks for your help, Rado

Are your video card drivers up to date? Get the latest off NVidia's website.

uninstall windowblinds again, and then run a registry cleaner to ensure all traces of the program is gone, then download stardock central and use that to download and install windowblinds, hope you have some luck because windowblinds is a class piece of software

I'd recommend using Stardock Central to install all the programs Theme Manager will use to apply a theme, before using Theme Manager.

I'd recommend following Fuzzy's Logic.
