Double cliicking!

I am developing rsi in both wrists as a result of these two games: DL and DA.

I would like to double click less.

Are there mice that have a single button that double clicks. I know there are mice with multiple buttons. I saw a Japanese Buffalo mouse that has a special red button next to the scroll wheel that causes a double click. I don't think it is sold in the US. Can any of the extra button mice be programmed to do double clicks?

I think there would also be a number of ways to eliminate clicks in the game.
If you are on the planet screen and the right square is selected why should we have to double click to build it (which is what we do 95% of the time)? Just one click on the improvement to build. IF we want to buy it then, we can click on the buy button.

In the GNI, if I click on a planet that has completed a building, it should go to the planet without me having to click on "GO TO."

RSI=repetitive stress injury.

Don't click on the GNI, click on the right-hand dropdown green planet icons to go to it instantly, right-click on ships to launch them instantly.
Use the OK and DONE buttons more

Yes, that helps some. I still would like to build planet improvements without double clicking (or clicking on the improvement and then build). Build should be the default.

I am also looking for a mouse that can double click with one click. Surely, someone has come up with that one. Some old three button mouses (before the scroll wheel) had that option for the middle button. How about clicking the scroll wheel?

I use a five button Tevion cordless mouse. The two extra buttons are in a great spot right above your thumb. There is a limit to the programming functionality of the extra buttons(you can't set them to be any key, there is quite a few choices though), but I have one of them set as a double click. It does save me a ton of double clicking. There is other ones that I've had in the past with programmable extra buttons and such, so there is a few choices out there.

Nearly all mice with 4 or more buttons can be programmed to allow any of the extra buttons to do what you want (including double-click).

Yep. I have a "doubl-click" button set up.
