Right-Click for Vista?

Does anyone know if RightClick works on Vista (the system requirements just say 2000/XP)? If not, does anyone know of a similar product that works on Vista?

Yes it does. Thank goodness too, that awful Vista start menu drives me nuts. Right Click is just perfect

I do not know of a replacement program

Yep, as Fuzzy said, it works great! I was going to switch back to XP if it didn't.

Has anyone been able to figure out a short-cut to Vista's new Personalization menu? The "open display control panel" shortcut built into Right-Click is not compatible with Vista, obviously.

On the Control Panel Menu, right-click on "Personalization" and select "Create Shortcut".
Go to your desktop and copy the new shortcut somewhere (I used the right-click program directory).
Add the shortcut to your right click menu.
Worked for me !!

Doesn't work for me on Vista64, it installs fine, but when I run it (even after rebooting) it just isn't there.

For me "Show folder in a menu" doesn't work at all with Vista 32bit.

I have seen many people report RightClick working in Vista, but I don't think it's "officially" compatible so there may be some issues.

Mine didn't work either until I turned of right-click transparancy. Apparently the sub-menus don't show if there is any level of transparency. Haven't tried it with one of the non-transparent vista basic setting, but why bother !!

My RightClick doesnt show on 32bit.

No way I'll upgrade to Vista until Right-Click is Vista compliant.

I have Vista 32 and Right-Click works fine.
No problems with it.

Lantec, I've had no problems at all using it in Vista Ultimate 32bit. "Show folders in a menu" works fine also here.

I can't live without RightClick, and when I found it worked, that helped my decision to make Vista my primary OS.

Maybe the problems some are having are in pre-release versions of Vista?

I have RTM.. maybe it was the DreamScene that was the issue. I uninstalled Right-Click because I never used it anyway

I have been able to get RC working okay on Vista Business N, BUT I cannot transfer settings from one installation to another. Tech support showed me how on XP, but this doesn't work on Vista, at least not for me. Anyone else try to take settings from one system and duplicate them on another? Love RC, but would really prefer not to go in and develop my settings from scratch, if I don't have to. About Vista, all tech support said was RC was not developed for Vista.

Has the Transparency in Vista Menu not working isuue been fixed in RC 1.25?  Is there any plans to fix it?

It would be nice to get some kind of transparency/translucency other than 'magic pink'. Have it use .png files or whatever.  Just got the Naked WB and a matching RC menu would be great.

Or just fix the "Use WindowBlind Skin"

Did "Use WindowBlind Skin" ever get fixed?  that quote was from May 09 and it's Dec 09.  Just curious.

No, nor will it be fixed.
RightClick, as we know it, is 'dead-ware'. Getting it to properly work with 64bit (Vista/W7) was appearantly too cost inefficient for any further re-developement.

A substitute is being worked on though.

Is there a replacement in the works for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit?  Figures I would 'discover' this app when it becomes a dead issue.
