WB on Vista ... Window not aligned to top

Okay, I realize that's a really crappy post title, but I couldn't think of anything else. Below is a link to a screenshot of loading "help and support" while using aero:

Vista Aero

Notice how the "H&S" window is position at the top of the monitor when it is launched?

Now, here's a screenshot with WB:

Vista WB

Obviously, you can note how the window is pushed down from the top of the monitor and this is just after launching. I've had this problem with more than just Help and Support, just figured it was a good example, but windows that aren't maximized aren't always positioned properly when they launch, sometimes they are even pushed off to the right of the screen. I realize I can drag the window back into position, but would prefer not to do that all day if possible.

Is this a known issue, or is there a setting I'm missing?

Here's my system info:

Hi dan

Does your issue happen in every skin? Just to eliminate skin architecture -skin edges/margins may influence window positioning..

I'm no expert in these matters but perhaps you could examine your hardware and drivers! If you have (Intel) integrated graphics, this could limit what WB can do -and other software, especially games. Have you disabled "pixel borders", as a test, under WB Configuration? This could make a difference.

Also check if there are more updated drivers (more Vista compatible) for your hardware from Intel. Check: WWW Link In this step you can eliminate hardware. Check Intel related forums first.

As you know, Vista can be a bit demanding as regards display and graphics, I would ascertain that everything is configured properly (Control Panel-Display)-this might eliminate a configuration issue.

I notice that you have extended your taskbar, if you reduce it, is the issue still present?

Finally, you might want to manually reposition the affected window as Windows remembers the last used location.

As I said before, I'm no expert, just wanted to offer some suggestions. Apologies if you have already tried these suggestions.
