whatever happened to society

do you remember wher stardock announced a while back that they would be makeing a massivly multiplayer online rts one of the major draws would have been that the casual player could still contend because only a quarter of the territories a player owned could be attacked per day and that the less you did in a week the more bounuses you would gain to an extent and as you played you would start gaining penalties after a while does anyone know what happened to it dropped, put on hold, released with a fizzle?

They didnt have the manpower, now that they do(since DA is done), it might pick up again.

Society is a long-term project. As things grow and other projects are completed, you may start to hear more about it again.

What about the "unnamed fantasy TBS"? that some speculate will be the spiritual successor of MoM, if that still in the works?

i think there was a lot of early hype about Society because the devs at SD think it'll be a truly different MMO game. and it may well be, but it was announced early on that it'd be a very long-term project.
