Uninstalling a program via SD results in SD loader.exe not found, when...

You check uninstall skins, etc for that program

When un-installing any one program in SD and checking delete associated skins, etc, launching SD results in loader.exe not found. So if I uninstall OB and check un-install skins, etc for this program, the shortcut for SD in Start, Programs, Stardock, SD Central is changed to loader.exe and cause XP to go searching for it. I have to change properties and get SD to point to sdcentral.exe. What's up with that?

what version of SDC?

haven't found any other posts showing of that issue (but then the 'search' could use some work)
I'm running 238d(b).213 build 139

Even in earlier versions I don't recall that happening except for maybe once about a year and half ago.

Hand raised! Oooh Oooh Mr. Carter.

I seem to be finding all the bugs, but then I actually "attempt" to use this product.

It shouldn't be this hard guys!

I don't know what to say Horshack,
I've been using the products since 2003 and haven't had all those issues

is your system stock or built?

It came in OEM stock but I removed all the freeware and it is running XP Pro SVC Pak 2 not Home. No games or cutese shareware installed either and the system has never had a virus nor has it ever become unstable. Wierd yes with SD installed.

are you installing the apps via disk, vie stand a lone, or via SDC?

are you setting paths or going to default path?

I have tried installing the trialware via download and via SD download. I have more stability when I install the trialware then activate it through SD. All default paths.

I've never used the trial ware.

Initially, I installed via the disk when I ordered it back in 03.

When my system crashed (not SD related - more related to trying to uninstall Norton), I reformatted - installed SDC - registered my product(s) - then downloaded installed via SDC

You go with what works, not days and weeks hoping this forum will get around to answering the question. I have also mentioned numerous times that software today should be smart enough to figure out that the trialware needs be un-installed or converted to subscribed during the update process.
