Open the Windowblinds Config menu, copy and post your System Info here. It would also be useful to know if you installed via SDC or off of the CD.

to boot into Safe Mode tap F8 continuously before the XP boot screen comes up, and choose Safe Mode. Then disable WB, and paste the info Lantec posted earlier.

ok first for lantec.i can boot into windows.it hangs on startup and stays at the windows logo while the 3 line thing keep rotating over and over.if i could get pass that and get my windows to start up i would have done that.cuz believe me that was my first mind.

secone for purrball.... my xp safe modes hangs too at start up and sometimes give me the xp version of blue screen of death.and sometimes it tells me i need to replace the hal.dll file.so that won't work for me.

and third.I installed xp home edition as a second operating system.to see if i could fix the problem through there.cuz i lost my xp pro cd.and i tried deleting wb from there.and it didnt work either.so i was wondering if u had any suggestion there also.
please write me back!!! thank u

From the F8 boot menu on XP pro, try "Last Known Good Configuration".

I don't think this is WB's fault. It sounds like a coincidence.

You need to be more specific here:
i tried deleting wb from there.and it didnt work either.
Are you talking about a file-lock issue or something else? If you were able to delete the WB files and folders, then that will pretty much eliminate the possibility of WB being the cause of this.

The problem you describe is usually due to a dual boot attempt, not WB.
