WB5 Would like to set my own desktop color independent of theme

Greetings,
I am using WB5 happily on my laptop with Windows XP Home SP2.
I currently have the Eminence Theme by Zero selected. I have
noticed, however, on multiple themes, that the desktop background
color is set to the theme default on reboot. I love the
themes, but I always set the desktop color to black because
I do lots of projector control stuff for work. Having a
black background means the projector doesn't show anything
on the wall until I start my presentation. The giant block
of gray or blue or whatever on boot is a bit annoying.

Is there a way to tell Windows or WindowBlinds to keep the
color black and still use this great product?

Is there a way to modify the desktop color in the theme?

Thanks for a great product,
Scott

You can do it by modifying the skin itself, changing the background color in SkinStudio's Classic Colors section, saving & re-applying the skin.

You could choose to not apply the skin's system color scheme globally in the old Config dialog but I can't find such a setting in the new 5.49 dialog.

You can also create a black wall and use that

Even simpler. Good call.

I don't evidently have SkinStudio, so I just made a black background bitmap and tiled it and I am happier now. Thanks for the help.
