it's a png - if you have a program like PS or PSP or whatever that handles pngs:

go into C:\Program Files\Stardock\CursorXP\FX and copy the small blue circle png

name = "Small blue circle -frm=8 -spd=40.png"

open the copy in your graphics program and change the hue/saturation and make it green - save as > "I suggest at this point you only change 'blue' to green" cuz you need to keep the frame rate and speed as part of the name.

then move the copy to the fx folder (if you saved the copy somewhere else before recoloring)

Dident work Photoshop just spit out a PSD file when saving. I changed the file type to PNG and then tryed to load it but it just made my cursor invisible and no effects worked.

I don't have PS - not familiar with how it saves - does it save as or do you have to export?

It worked pretty good in PaintshopPro - colored, ran through optimizer, checked transparency, saved as - moved it to fx folder, now shows in list

since you have PS - you could just duplicate the frames in the color you want, then put the frames together with the Stardock AniUtil - which you can get at the bottom of this page: Creating Themes - Adding Effects

I have no idea how to do that )-:. Anything i save in photoshop turns into a PDS file for some reson witch makes it impossible to use with cursorXP even if you change the file type to PNG. Anyway im not realy good with computers is there anyway you could make the file for me real quik and send it through Aim or email?. Ide realy apreciate it thanks ^_^.

just changing an extension doesn't work

you need to 'save as'

possibly in PS it may be an 'export' option instead of 'save as'

then choose the file type

Nope ...in Photoshop, it's 'save as' ...and choose .png as the filetype to save it as.

Not much different from PSP, really.

In Photoshop choose "Save for Web..." then choose the "PNG-24" under "Preset" and it will save a copy of the PSD file as a PNG file.
