WB 5 breaks pcAnywhere 11.0.1

Hi folks,

I am currently testdriving (trial) Windows Blinds (and other of the Object Desktop programs).

However, I am unable to remote control computers using Symantec pcAnywhere 11.0.1 - it will simply not update the window with the content from the remote computer.

If I exit the Windows Blinds program, everything works.

This is a major setback since we use pcAnywhere for remote controlling about 1.000 computers at 200 customer locations.

Any ideas as to what I can try? I really like it, and are prepared to fork out the needed $$$ if it will work with my daily programs

Have you tried excluding pcAnywhere from being skinned and see if that helps. Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on "Per Application" then "Add per application setting". Find the pcAnywhere exe and add it. You will need to restart pcAnywhere after doing this. Hope this helps.

YES! SUCCESS!

I did a search both here and on Google for a solution, but apparently noone reported this problem anywhere. Or maybe it is theme specific.

Anyway, I had missed the "per appliction" setting in the configuration. Very clever.

I better register next time my wallet and computer is close to each other I am on my way out of the door to get to work now.
