Galciv2's ship-designer upstaged!

Belive it or not, it IS possible!

I was at gamestop the other day, when I noticed a box for a PC game called "UFO Extraterestrals" I picked it up and looked at the box, and on the back-of-the-box advertisement, I saw the following: "Don't like the ships in the game? Make your own! design everything, including mines, satilites, and star-bases." I couldn't belive it! even mines and starbases?! OK, I'm done with being over-dramatic, now you tell me: does this totally blow Galciv2's designer out of the water or not?

Yeah, my comp easily compares to (if not better) the Xbox 360 graphics wise and performance wise. In some ways my comp is even better. Like TheProgram said, it is just PR to get you to buy it...

Response to Darth Kryo: Yes, but the sheer variety of different things you can design IS impressive.

Response to Ultimit and TheProgram: It's not called PR, it's called advertising. PR is making sure people like your company, not telling them hw great your product is in commercials.

If you want to customise everything take a look at space empires 4. Its inferior to the GCII designer when it comes to visuals and you cant do much with "jewlery" but theres a whole shitload of parts and you can design everything even your ground troops... I especially like the super tech you can get near the end. Collapsing whole systems into black holes FTW! Overall a pretty average game though. Only good with MP and ive never found anyone to play a good game with.
