Ms Word icon changes on applying icon theme

When i load and apply a theme i find that my word icon always changes to the wordpad icon (the icon when a doc file has no asociation registered with word). I have to track the wordicon.exe file in prder to change it back to its default icon from the file types properties. This happens each time i load an icon packager theme. Is there something wrong and if so how can it be prevented or permanently corrected

Have you tried Tools->Rebuild Icon Cache, Tools->Repair Icon Images?

Which OS (including service packs) are you running?

I am having the same problem. IconPackager version 3.20.128 for windows xp sp2. Does anyone have a resolution for this. Tried all the rebuild options and nothing seems to work. I can set the icon back in folder options but when I apply another theme that doesn't have the word icon it goes back to the wordpad icon.
