I haven't run it through myself just fired it up to see if my machine exploded, no picking of metal out my face so seemed to work.

I reckon it's not bad for 2-3hours random "what if i press this" type keyboard pressing.

couple things though.

The planets arn't changed yet as nobody has made the models for them.

Hmmmm photo's not working? i'll maybe take a look at that probably a spelling mistake in the race config file or saved version. (i think pneumonic might butcher it into shape if your all very lucky)

it does not have the new tradeimages suggested either cause I was knackered, on GMT time which i reckon looking at the "time now" in the bottom of the forum screen is 5 hours ahead.

I suggest folks mod the mod and change stuff to what you like. If you want to change defualt images, and the vok could be done better, ie the pic above then all you need to do is save that pic, open the raceimage_vok1.png and raceimage_vok2.png copy new pic and fit it over the old ones and save it and it should be read as the default image.

now go play or tweak or tinker and don't say i'm not good to you.

I know it's not a lot of work, and yes I know that it's done on Photoshop but still it looks great in the game! oh and the color lines are looking (not in the game!) bad but you can ignore them. so here is the picture and I'm gonna post it to the library! I haven't submitted it yet since I'm still working on it. I want to fix as many bugs as possible before I release it.

Do you know how to get rid of the animated images in the diplomacy screens etc? I have an idea i am working on and need to get rid of the darn animation and replace it with my own static image.

You need to edit the RaceConfig.xml file. Delete all the "trade movie" and "UP movie" entries. That should allow the static images to show up instead of the animated ones.

Going to try and change what each of the entries is pointing to so that i can control what appears for each area!!

you can also delete it. and you can change the title screen of the game to a Transformer picture and the music. even to change the movie and the details of "first colonize" movie! and you can change the "Star Dock" movie about the game it goes like this: A long time ago.... blah blah blah...
