Transformer Conversion Mod???

Someone needs to make Cybertron and put it in the library. Coruscant is the closest planet to Cybertron that is available.

What about factions? There are many, but I can only see Autobot, Decepticon and Earth being possible factions.

I've been using a custom race for Transformers known as the Cybertronian Alliance (or Empire, depends how I want to play).

I was thinking someone good make a whole mod folder, and also put all factions in, Predacon, Maximal, etc. as well.

i knocked up a 40k mod and have been thinking about this for a while now i have a few days off and the new movie trailer for inspiration........

need, what 9 factions? need to change mini civs

also not sure how to represent transformers and give it that kind of feel, maybe tech tree ammendments to soldiering so you have head masters and target masters instead of shock troops etc

Unicron would make a good planet for galvatrons decpeticons (or alternate reality decpeticons) to begin from.

Dinobots as a minor race?

gestalt technology as an invasion tactic?

any suggestions?

I created several [link=http://library.galciv2.com/index.aspx?m=82]Transformers Faction Symbols">Link a few months back. There are a few more symbols I believe, so I could find them and make the required adjustments.

Factions/Civs

Major:

1.Autobot
2.Decepticon
3.Cybertronian Empire (from Marvel G2 Comic led by Leige Maximo)
4.Vehicon (mindless drones in Beast Machines, not descendant of any Transformer faction, rather they are the creation of BW/BM Megatron.)
5.Mini-Con (from Armada)
6.Earth (could be left as Terran Alliance)
7.Unicron (IMO it would be best to have Unicron as his own faction, since his goal is to destroy the Transformers. I made a faction symbol of Unicron's head that could be used.)
8.Quintesson
9.Vok (It is debated that the Vok are the descendants of The Swarm from the Marvel G2 Comic when the Matrix gave them sentience. They work to preserve the timeline from those that mean to change it)

That's 9 major factions right there.

Nebulos needs to be a Minor Civ.

Replace Invasion Tech names with these:

1.Targetmasters
2.Headmasters
3.Action Masters
4.Powermasters
5.Micromasters
6.Turbomasters
7.Gestalt (next to last/last Invasion Tech?)
8.City 'Bot (ala Fortess Maximus, Metroplex, etc; last Invastion Tech?)

Maximal and Predacon are descendant of Autobot and Decepticon so having them in this mod as separate factions makes no sense IMO. Unless they are really wanted they can be included. I just do not see the purpose of including them. Vehicon and Mini-Con are better choices.

What is needed for this mod:

Planets

Cybertron (Autobot)
Charr (Decepticon)
Unicron
Nebulos
Quintesssa
Starting worlds for Cybertronian Empire, Vehicon, Mini-Con, Vok

was thinking about using the "War within" factions Autobot, LSC, Wreckers, Decepticon, Ultracon, Predacon and then filinging in a couple,other, need a unicron type planet, set it after the movie as a slwoly rebuilding unicron sending minions to do his bidding type mooowahahaha

need a bit of quintessons

and maybe humans?

LSC? That's just an abbreviation right? I read War Within, but I don't remember all the factions that were mentioned.

Vehicon and Mini-Con can be replaced and used in the Invasion Techs instead (after thinking about it, it would make more sense for them to be in the Invasion Techs).

So, we'd have the following then:

1. Autobot (Cybertron)
2. Decepticon (Charr)
3. Cybertronian Empire (Unknown at this time, perhaps use Cybertronia for the name?)
4. Humans (Earth)
5. Unicron (Unicron, duh)
6. Quintesson (Quintessa)

I haven't bothered much with trying to mod games but I can give it a shot. No promises though.

I know of only 2 Transformers games. Beast Wars for PC, which I have not played and do not own, and Transformers for PS2 that was released in 2004. Neither are strategy games and I don't think Cybertron is in them.

The only other option would be to use pictures, but I imagine that could be difficult.

Well I think Unicron's Head as a planet, sending forth minions, etc. works.
