Customizing the Save/Open dialogs

The "My Places" sidebar

Is there a way to add shortcuts to the Choose Image... dialog when changing an icon in OD? http://www.bebi.r0x0rs.com/uploads/chooseimage.jpg I tried adding a shortcut to my icons folder in the OD folder but it didn't work. In addition, is there a way to add a shortcut in the Select Image dialog http://www.bebi.r0x0rs.com/uploads/selectimage.jpg or the Open/Save dialogs? http://www.bebi.r0x0rs.com/uploads/opendialog.jpg I'd like to be able to add/remove icons there on the sidebar but I'm not sure how I could do that (if possible).

I've managed to add one when in Word/Outlook when saving something, because in those dialogs it has a Tools menu to the right of the Views menu but it's not there for some reason in the other dialogs. *shrug*

For Open/Save dialogs, Enhanced File Dialog ( part of Object Desktop ) will let you customize shortcuts for them.

For OD change image dialog any folder with images in it that is in the OD folder should show in the list. If it is in another folder in OD folder images will show up when that folder is selected, you will not see the sub folder.

Enhanced File Dialog? I didn't see it in the list of products, I do have Object Desktop.

As for ObjectDock, I was hoping I could just create a shortcut in that choose image dialog because I have a folder of icons (almost 900mb worth, a bit excessive?) in another directory under my C:\ drive. It's a bit cumbersome having to navigate out of program files etc back into my icons directory to change an icon, was hoping I could cut down on those steps.

Have you at some point in time maybe hidden it from view in Stardock Central.
Just incase, have Object Desktop selected in SDC, View, Show/Hide Applications.

Ohh, I see it now. Is it a beta? I had pre-releases hidden so once I undid that it showed up.

I was looking at what it does (searched it on the Stardock site) and it looks exactly like what I wanted. Suppose I'll give it a whirl and hope nothing goes bonkers on me.

Yes it is beta, I don't think there has been a release version.
I have been running it for months with no issues.

Well I got it installed and it's great. One thing I noticed though, when I add new programs to the forced list, it seems the only way for me to get it to apply to those programs is to restart, is there another way to do it that I overlooked? I figure I had to be missing something there.

Just tested, added Paint Shop Pro to forced list, while PSP was open, selected save as for open image, had the new forced dialog, also had the folder I added to places. Not sure why is only adding after a restart for you.

Must be my aura, computers seem to hate me (mine at least).
