Start menu at top of screen?

...how do you move the start bar (with task bar included) to the top of the screen?

I purchased object desktop today and am trying to break myself in.

Left click on the taskbar and drag it to the top.

if it doesn't move - right click on the bar and uncheck 'lock the taskbar' = then as NT said
