My best work is back but..

As the title say, my best work is back but, i'm still not happy with the rating thing..., i have to admit that devart is another thing talking about the download rates, but it's more friendly with the ratings(favorites in there), and the comments are more constructive(they put something like: good work but u miss this'), not like in here(realy rare times i see this), "why do u keep using that glass effect?..".

But whatever.., maybe i should apologize(i dont know why), with some of u.., about this two main reasons that make me delet all my stuff, but now i undertsand that i make a mistake doing that(ok, again: sry for delet my stuff).


I bring back just the best of all my creations(missing just two Beatniks that i loose during a system crash on my pc), and i add two new cursors themes, Water Radiance and Red Flame.


Enjoy them and please WC staff, try to make this site a 100% functional for Opera users!

Is that supposed to be an apology?

For starters, if you really meant it (which I'm not sure if you did or not) you would have taken the time to RESPECTFULLY type out the words instead of lazyhand.   

 

Tycus , The sooner you learn to ignore the ratings, the better off you will be.

Ratings are NOT important, and are better ignored.  Take it as a compliment if your ratings are high, but otherwise dont be concerned about them.  Same with comments... good comments are welcome, but the bad ones should be ignored unless they point out a problem in the skin or theme.

i stopped reading comments and worrying about ratings years ago. in my opinion, people who worry about ratings are skinning for the wrong reasons.

Yeah Tycus...like Cerebro said...don't worry about ratings (people just don't bother most of the time) or comments (but at least reply to them good...bad or otherwise)...your downloads are what tell you if anyone like your work.

Hi Tycus, it's nice to see your skins are back...hopefully you'll consider uploading more when you have them.

As a few skinners have already said, don't take too much notice of the ratings, as they are not always a true indicator of your work' popularity, whether people like them or not. Best that you skin for yourself first and foremost anyway, then upload and share if you wish to. In the end, it's your own rating of your own skins that's most important, as in, if you're happy with them that's all that really matters.

Good to see you changed your mind Tycus

We all have our issues with any and every site. For me its the ratings and such here too and at DA its the lack of a better browsing of things. But, as others have said, you just got to ignore them and move on. Nothing is perfect and you'll never please everyone but all the sites have thier good points too.

Anyway, good to see ya back and bring on some new stuff
