Where is the sticky on non-internet connected validation?

I cannot be the only person in the world who wants to patch a legal copy of this game on a computer that is not connected to the internet.

Where have they hidden the information on what hoop I have to jump through to get stardock to tell me it's ok to run my patched version of the product I bought from them? This almost makes me miss starforce (just kidding).

Thanks for any pointers. I could have sworn this was out here somewhere, but I'm not finding it.

I emailed support, but the last time I did that it took 4 days to get a reply. On the other hand, I recall getting an email back from the activation people very promptly the last time I had to do this.

Never mind. The robot that answers the support emails had the correct address on it, 'activate@stardock.com'.

PS: Interesting article on another company that thinks internet validation is a good idea:

I can't say how much it pisses me off that you dare compare what Microsoft is doing to what Stardock is doing. They don't have copy protection on their game so according to you they should let every Tom, Dick and Harry just download it for free?

Well, if your parents named you Dick (Not Richard, but just Dick), I think we'd all feel sorry enough for the guy to get angry at him for pirating.

But, seriously. The guy asks how to patch the game without the 'net, and you go off at him? Weird.
