-running on windows xp, fresh install so its nothing to do with lack of memory and it meets all the specifications and minimums of object desktop tools.
-It does this on ALL skins except stock windows skins
-version 5.01 window blinds

Go to WB config.
Click on System Info in lower left corner.
Paste results here. It can help.

Did this suddenly happen, or has it always happened on your pc?

And it suddenly happened on my pc when i got the enhanced version. It was fine when i used to use the demo and i completely removed of that registry and all so i dont know why it would do it now?

I can't say if it's cracked or not . . . I keep meaning to copy the specs when Neil identifies one but never do.

In case you aren't a thief . . . . the file dates are not correct. Uninstall WB. Reboot. Install stardock central. Install WB from there.

I am sorry to say that the files in question do not match up with files Stardock have released.

If you purchase WindowBlinds then this problem will go away.

It's!! Checks his Wbsrv.dll,Wbconfig.exe. That's why he dare not post the info in first post.

From the Eula:

YOU MAY NOT: 1. Copy and distribute the SOFTWARE or any portion of it except as expressly provided in this Agreement. 2. Sublicense, rent, lease or transfer your personal registering number.

I think that means you gotta get your own serial # - see link in #16 for more info.

oh darn im so sorry i didnt memorize the stardock handbook, im going to hell.

Its not like i pirated it for nothing any how, i paid for it with cash no matter what that is still money, it apparently wont work but i have to sort that out myself. Have respect or dont be a smartass. I'm not one of those guys downloading this on kazaa.

No one is being a smart-ass . . but in some countries that EULA is a binding contract . . it pays to know what you are getting. And as for buying it with cash . . Stardock doesn't see any of that money. And unless you "friend" deleted his copy and key either you or he owe Stardock some cash.

WB is a great product . . I hope you get a chance to pick it up.

As I said previously, the files do not match with files released by Stardock.

It is almost certainly a 'cracked' copy which will never work as it appears to be a mix of modified 5.0 and 5.01 files and the end result will be WB cannot load its bitmaps.

If you believe your copy is legit then please e-mail support@stardock.com including the sig.bin from your WB directory & the e-mail used to purchase WB and serial number for WindowBlinds.  In order to install WB you would have already need those bits of information.

How much did you pay for the cracked version?

$19.95 straight from Stardock, plus you get a year of updates.

plus, if I'm not totally mistaken...if your downloads are limited due to visitor status, I believe that cap is raised on WB skins - if you purchased WB (from Stardock).
