Problem with icons

messed up icons

I've installed WindowBlinds5, changed to some new skin(I forgot which one but it was one of the default). Suddenly my icons on desktop were messed up! They're too close to each other and I can't change it. They're so close that another free horizontal space was created. So I changed back to my winXP default skin (not classic from 95/98) and they won't repair:( Finnaly I've uninstalled WB5 and.... they're still messed up. I can't fix it. I haven't got any earlier restore points:(

right click the desktop > uncheck align to grid = drag them around = recheck align to grid

That doesn't helped. They're vertically and horizontally closer. Look at the pictures once again and count icons in vertical. Before I had 9 vertical free spaces for icons. Now I have 10! There's one extra horizontal space. That's why icons are divided in the middle of desktop! I don't want this.

right click desktop > properties > appearance > advanced > icon spacing (vertical) {in drop down list} = see what it's set at (32 vert sp works here fine - no gap - 9 rows)
