All Metal Skin on WB 4.5 How do I change the background so all my apps aint grey?

I am new to the skin thing and after trying to change my backgrounds in the basic settings - which didnt work. I got stuck and not knowing what im doing dont want to start messing about changing BMP's unless someone tells me this is what i need to do.. at the minute though im forever changing my background colour in WORD as its not too clever with a grey page.. Can anyone help me out...Thanks

here's a work around until somebody supplies the answer: open WB configuration > per application > click add & browse to Word's .exe and add it to be excluded (there are options in per appl besides total exclusion - sometimes just skinning the title bar works - sometimes just having that program only use a certain skin works)

Easy fix with skinstudio. In the classic colors section you want to change the window-background color to suit your preference.
