Click on the "Software" tab above on this page. Windowblinds is the first entry & you can download the trial version there.

for a paid version - not sure, but I think it comes with WB5 - I have seen it in the list at the store but you have to look for it.  Best bet would be to email sales: Email and ask directly.

The tab Daiwa refers to is at the Wincustomize site.  A lot of the forums cross post between sites.

I believe (but have been know to be wrong) the classic version is also called 4.6

Hmm... I'm viewing this page on WinCustomize. Are you viewing through a different portal?

I'm not aware that there is a "classic" version of WindowBlinds. Classic usually refers to the default Windows Classic GUI. You don't need WB to use that on Win2K - that's the only option.

Could you be referring to a "prior" version of WB such as 4.6? I don't know if that is still available for download. I'm also unaware of any situation where 4.6 would work that 5.1 would not, so it's not really needed, unless what you're really looking for is an older version that has no expiration code. If "classic" is code for "free & won't expire" you may be out of luck. Besides, the free versions don't fully skin the GUI.

I believe OP's viewing via Stardock forums (same as me at the moment)

5.1 is only for XP - Win2000 users have to use 'Windowblinds Classic' which I think is 4.6.

From the WB page:

(WindowBlinds is certified by Microsoft for use with Windows XP, Windows 2000*, Windows ME*, and Windows 98*).

* = Windows 2000, ME, 98 users use WindowBlinds classic based on WindowBlinds 4.x.

Sir Bichur -

Someone must have switched the coffee to decaf this morning - you are quite right & I had a rather stinky brain fart. 4.6 is still available & the only option for pre-XP machines. What was I thinking?
