How do You use deskx with iconx?

Wont they work to gether?

Why does my Iconx unload when I start desktopx? I Am only trying to use 2 desktopx widgets alone, with iconx? Why would stardock make products that wont work together? Or is there a secret to make these to products more compatable?

If you have DX running switch to DX builder mode(system tray DX Icon right click menu) and you will get a Configure IconX selection in the right click menu of DXs system tray Icon.

Long story short IconX was once part of DX and can still be configured from within DX.

I dont have a selection from anywhere using builder or client stating iconx? USing desktopx 3.1? And also Now when ever i start up i have a Dark screen(no picture on desktop) Until i load and unload builder? WTF? All i wanted to do was use 2 widgets , windowblinds and iconx! Had it right once b4 But now Im lost

O.K. I found the option, which is the same as when ya click iconx's menus, I have them both working together now, but it is same as b4 when i stated about the desktop being "no picture" I dont mean there isn't a picture because i can see it through my clear taskbar even change it and still see it but the rest of screen is black? And this happens on startup as well? The black screen doesnt go away until I load then unload desktopx builder, and with iconx and my widgets running it never goes away, untill I unload iconx? Please some one help!!

IconX and DTX used to be together. Now they are separate.
Firedogs Ron and Son Jose had several posts on them a while back.

One option is unload IconX and get DTX working the way it should.
Then run IconX. Go to 'start' 'all programs' 'startup' and open it. Then right click in it and add a shortcut, browse to IconX and add it.

That would work i think but as soon as iconx starts up it shuts down one or the other?
