Autopilot problem

OK I'm either being incrediblt stupid or there is basic problem with autopilot in Beta 2 - when I set a ship to move ( by selecting it and right clicking on a destination ) I get a blue line and a symbold telling me how long it takes to move and it says autopilot next to the ship - however when I hit turn none of the ships move - clicking find does nothing but when I view the ship they all have movement left in the status at the bottom of the screen - i then have to each ship and selct it and the detination again and it moves.....What am I doing round, I can't believe this is a bug.
BTW i haven't played version 1.0 I went straight for the beta ......

Actually, there IS a problem with auto pilot, has been since day one, and apparently no one that can fix it cares.

Try this.
Turn one, colony ship that can move 2 spaces. Tell it to move 3 spaces.
Hit end turn. Ship moves 2 spaces, and the date advances.
Hit end turn. Ship moves 1 space, and the date advances.

Now try it again after toggling "skip leftover moves" or whatever its called.

You will see this toggle has no effect, and we are all playing on "skip leftover moves please I didn't mean to put so many engines on it anyways" mode.

If they fixed this in beta, great, but I read the change log in its entirety and missed where they mentioned fixing it.

I find this highly annoying. I don't even use auto pilot anymore because I refuse to have my ship with a 50 movement be stopped after 1 movement because the toggle isn't working.

As advertised, you are supposed to be able to click end turn, then if there are unspent moves be prompted to use them. It does not work as advertised, and the toggle for it is broken.... but I can't seem to find anyone who cares that can actually do anything about it.

I don't think it's an issue of no one caring about it enough to fix it. It's just that whenever there's a list of bugs to patch up, you definately have to prioritize which bugs seriously affect game play and which bugs are "mechanical" in nature but don't actually stop the game from working. Just have faith and some patience. Stardock has done everything they can to make sure that they're delivering solid product to its customers and they've been bending over backwards by doing their best to acquiese to our needs.
