Check out this planet I found, I think it was class 26, but then I found a precursor device that brought it up to 31! Right at the start of the game too.

yea i had that happen to me except it was a class26 which had it increase by 25% from trait to 32 and then anouther 24% to a 41%. After all my improvments it became a 51 or 57 cant remember but it was my manufacturing and research capitols by far the best planet in the game. then later in this map i was able to find anouther planet which ended up being a 47 after improvements. to bad i didnt look at the alliances the comp made and ended going to war with all of them

With those kind of planets you should be able to muster a big enough war machine to take out anyone.

build super ships in one turn as long as ur economy can take the huge maintnance costs ur pretty much fine
