What Do You Think is the Best Galactic Wonder?

Personally I think that the Eye of the Universe is the best wonder, especially in the early game. Who wouldn't want a 15 parsec sensor radius for free for all your ships and stations.

So let's hear your thoughts on the best wonder.

Diplomatic Translators. You get a shot at them after your first couple of research projects... Right at the beginning of the game. I go into debt to get them, because once you have them, you can 1) avoid selling them to any other major race, giving you instant, decisive diplomatic superiority, which you use 2) to trade for all kinds of techs you'd normally never see. With them I go through a round robin of diplomacy, and it's like Christmas. Races who hate me will still trade on favorable terms for things that the races who like me need and will trade on even more favorable terms for... Along with the money necessary to instantly erase the Diplomatic Translator debt. Diplomatic Translators are like ATMs.

I just traded pd combo for supreme miniaturization with the arceans (the most powerful civ), and *after that* gave point defence II & III to get them to attack the torians (who are at #2). This is with diplomatic translators and galactic bazaar and a bunch of yellow techs, on tough.

I see that no one at all mentioned the worthless Galactic Guide Book. By the time I would be able to afford to build this anomalies are loooong gone. Anyboby know a more worthless wonder?
The Galactic Guide Book would be so much better if it gave you zero space Survey Modules instead of zero cost Survey Modules.

Who cares? I mean, Survey Module just allow to check anomalies, and it's no long that there isn't anymore!

The Galactic Guide Book would be great, if it actually did what it says it does -- that is, allow any ship to survey. No survey module needed. Plus, as was said earlier, by the time you get the tech, most of the anomolies are gone.
