Forum issues.

I've been posting in the forums a bit and have noticed a few of what i think are bugs and a few usability issues. In regards to the issues with "broken" features I definitely allow for the fact that I may be missing something.

BROKEN (or maybe I'm not getting it....)
-The watch button doesn’t appear to do anything: Every time I have hit this button I get taken to a message that says,
"Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached."
I assume this button is meant to create a link in ones user profile to the forum thread to allow people to quickly return to forum conversations. It's a shame this doesn’t work as if I am away from the forums for even half a day it can be quite hard to find forum threads I am talking in.

-Little faces only post at end of entire post: This isn’t really a big deal but the emoticons don't post where the cursor is when you hit their quick button. They appear to post at the end of the entire body of your post when pressed.

-Bonus rating tab doesn’t appear to do anything: There are two options, troll and insightful. I've used them on both interesting and troll posts alike and have yet to notice any effect.

ISSUES
-No search function: This is a biggie for me. Every forum of this nature needs a search feature as they are a very significant aid to users trying to find answers to their questions in older posts. Want to cut down on redundant posts? Add a search feature. (Pleeeaaassse ) This would also help in situations in which the developer confirms or disconfirms an issue and then doesn’t speak of it again

-The forum is slow during peak hours: I am aware that it is typical for a new game's website to get allot of traffic in its first month or so but the forum is really a pain during peak hours. any hope of you guys buying some more bandwidth for a month or so?

Lastly, there is something which I had suggested for the forum a while back and Brad said this was a good idea and was going to implement it. I'm really just checking to see if this is in the works, not going to be implemented or just heavily delayed. It's really not a big deal regardless of the answer, I'm just curious.
My suggestion was that I think a game description section of the forum, that is a section of the forum where users post exclusively descriptions or stories of cool games played along with screenshots and whatnot, would be a good addition to the forums here. Paradox does this for some of their games and while they have also opened them up to some truly horrible fan fiction, those posts which stick mainly to the game play can be very interesting to check out. The GC2 wikki has a section that links out to game stories people post elsewhere online but this isn’t really the same thing as most people don't have the know-how or the inclination to post on their own net space.
These posts serve both the developer and the player in a number of ways too. For stardock they function as a form of advertisement for the game helping show perspective players the fun game play (I know Brads game stories prior to release got me hooked in). For players they help disseminate good or fun strategy for game play as well as just making for interesting reads sometime. So yeah, I wrote way more than I thought I would about that but I think throwing this into the forums would be kinda cool.
