Darkness Rising Bug?

It seems that no matter the outcome of the Darkness Rising campaign mission, you move onto Seige. If you win, Seige is the next in line. If you lose, the alternate mission is also... Seige?! From what I can tell, Seige starts out the same with either path. Is this a bug and there should be a different mission for if you fail Darkness Rising?

It makes sense though.

If you win, x releases y on z.
If you don't win, I would guess that x still releases y on z.

No need for alternate missions here.
