Can't Rotate Map!?

OK, i know i'm supposed to use the "middle button" to rotate the map... UM, so yea my mouse doesn't have a middle button. It's a Logitech Mx700 (it's a new mouse, it has left, right, zoom wheel (and wheel button, which i assumed would be the middle button, but it doesn't work), and verious other buttons). I disabled the mouse software, still can't rotate the map. Enabled the software and set one of the button's functionalities to "middle mouse button", but i still can't rotate the map. WHAT GIVES HERE??? why can't i rotate the darn map?

My Logitech trackball, I just press and hold my scroll wheel. Works great for me.

i really wish it would work for me too. i have a work-around, i was finally able to bind the "middle button" command to my mouse's "fast scroll down" button, it's right above the mouse wheel, and it works, but it's a pain not to just be able to use the scroll wheel button. even when i bind the "middle button" command (via logitech software, as above) to the scroll wheel button, it doesn't work

I had the same problem at first but i found a solution. I have have the Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 from Microsoft and the following worked for me:

1) I opened my mouse properties.
2) I clicked on the "buttons" tab where i could change a button assignment. There were 3 options: Left button, Right button and Wheel button.
3) I changed the wheel button's default setting(Next window) to Autoscroll and applied the changes.

After that i could rotate with the wheel button just fine.
Note that these options should be available to most Microsoft models. I'm not sure about other companies but i would suspect that something similar applies to them as well.

I also have a Logitech mouse and had the same problem. You have to go into the Logitech mouse control panel and change the wheel button. To do this I had to select the wheel button, then select 'other' as the task, then select 'middle button' in the select function area. Works great now!

Yea but i did that and it didn't work! it's like the game refuses to accept a middle button command from my mouse wheel button!
