Activation Error

Hi, I'm having activation problems with WindowsBlinds. I'm an Object Desktop subscriber, and installed WB5 using Stardock Central. Upon completetion of installation, I get a blank dialog box with no text, no title, just an [OK] button. Attempts to activate it via the right-click menu have also proved futile. My OD subscription is correctly registered, and the subscription expires in 05 February 2007, so the problem (at least from my point of view) lies within the activation process and not by any mistake on my part.

I've checked activate.log in the SDCentral directory, and the following can be seen:

Submitting activation request...

Download: success

Result parsing error (1)

Error activating the product


If it's any help, I installed Stardock Central and Windowblinds outside of the default \Program Files\ directory, although I doubt if that should matter.

Slimcea: I've just sent you an email which should help you get set up.

If anyone else is having problems, just send an email to 'activate at stardock.com' (replace "at" with "@") and put "Activation trouble" in the subject line.

Thanks for the prompt help! I managed to get it working at last by checking for Application updates before it would successfully authenicate. No idea why this step is necessary, but this might help anyone else suffering the same problem.
