Unfortunately the fix of turning off the hardware acceleration worked in making the youtube videos loadable in chrome, but the performance hit to video quality was too great on my R9280. Youtube video became choppy. I had to add chrome as a per app exclusion to windowblinds to fix the problem for now until the bug is found.

Same happening here. Youtube video crashing on start and endless buffering on Chrome Version 49.0.2623.112 m on Windows 10 64bit with windowblinds loaded. Not a problem with Internet Explorer and everything is fine after unloading windowblinds. Tried stable version of windowblinds 10 and beta. Same problem on both.
If there was any way for you to develop modernmix to allow live tiles as icons on the desktop that could be placed anywhere on the desktop directly and still keep their ability to update live in real time, that would complete 8.1 and make it the ultimate desktop. Microsoft is adding some features of modernmix with the coming updates and to keep it viable with the obvious plus of running an app in a window, this would be a great inclusion if at all possible. All "right click" taskbar menus are corrupted visually on my install of windowblinds 8 with windows 8.1 preview. No matter which visual style I use. I uninstalled, re downloaded, re installed, updated nvidia drivers to 326.01. Nothing has fixed it so far. My machine is an Asus i5 Sandy Bridge running an Nvidia gt530 card. Only the taskbar right click menus are corrupted. All other menus and borders look fine. Any ideas? I'm all out. :) Thanks in advance, Mike PS: Her

I can't even get Windowblinds 8 to install in 8.1. I keep getting decompression errors on every file. When the preview release of Windows 8.1 comes out at the end of June I will be installing it. Will modernmix be compatible with it or will you only be supporting the final release in the late fall? I want the upgrades to windows 8 asap, but I don't want to lose the functionality of modernmix. Any news yet or is it wait and see what happens time? :) Thanks in advance.
I've found a temporary fix that seems to work. Leaving a regular program open on the desktop stops the minimized apps. from opening on their own. In my case I leave a sticky note open on the desktop. Small, unobtrusive and handy at the same time. :)

I tried removing start8 and still no luck, but maybe I didn't purge it completely with the uninstall. I'll try it again, thanks. Only thing I could do to fix it was remove modernmix. I guess I should have waited until it was out of beta before parting with my money. :) Hopefully it gets fixed.

I've noticed a few of the other bugs that you've addressed in other posts, but one that I haven't seen yet that is happening to me is when I have two or three apps. minimized on the taskbar and am using another regular program or app. in a window, one of the minimized apps. will pop open for no reason when I close the program that I'm using and I have to minimize it again. Fullscreen and windowed. It also happens when launching programs. I
