When playing the campaign (1.01 - excellent patch by the way) it takes about 2 minutes for the screen to load so I can accept the next challenger. Odd. --James
Iceberg1
!! --James
I'm having the same problem. I have a 2.6 Ghz Pentium 1024 MB Ram ATI Radeon 9000 128 MB 80 Gb Hardrive --James
I go as far as I can with one candidate and unlock as many of the opposite party. When I can't advance anymore, I use the highest charcter I unlocked to start the campaign again on the opposite side. I go as far as I can again, then repeat! --James
I think there was a bug with created candidates that caused them to be unfairly balanced. That is now fixed according to the Patch 1.01 release notes. Jefferson was a Democrat. I don't think George Washington had an official "party." I think he would be considered a Federalist. Schwarzenegger is there for fun. If he wasn't, people would be asking for them to add him. Install the patch; I know I will. --James
Its true. I kept giving speeches on how we had to support the U.N. as a Democrat. I thought it was hillarious how fast that issue became important, and my Republican opponent had to start responding. --James
That would be cool. I like single player, but because I'm not very good, I keep running into a wall on the higher opponents. There's something about beating a friend in a landslide election that 's just fun! --James
All right. I apologize; looking over my posts I have been a little harsh. First, I'm glad you came out with 1.01 so quickly. I haven't tried it yet, but will tonight. Until then, I won't comment anymore in a negative light. Most of my gripes have already been aired. I also gather from your post that I may be using the word "Bug" incorrectly. Bug to me means when I click on my candidate, I have to click three or four times, listen to airplane n
Is that a glimpse at the future, Frogboy? --James
Interesting. Thanks for the tips. --James
....well...you might have gotten the short end of the stick. I bought mine for 19.95 at Best Buy. No Operatives Kit. --James
Without reason!? Check these forums! There are tons of bugs that are either a) preventing people from even playing the game, or b) causing the game to behave illogically. If the game had been tested before release, most of these issues might have been resolved. Especially the retail version, where traditionally you would generate most of your revenue. When a game doesn't work, and even if there are "minor" bugs, you've basically lost credibility with y
I think you pay more for the Operative/Stardock version ($10 more) --James
No. --James
Speaking of the KKK, isn't a Democratic congressman a former Grand Dragon? --James
Well, if this is a wish list, then I would like to see political commentators. They would be interesting because they are SO partisan that it would be hard to win more moderate folks. --James
Aren't you guys happy we're here to keep you honest? --James
Awesome! Looking forward to it. Most of my issues should be corrected!! (I hope!) --James
I agree. The 1.01 revision list says it will fix this "Bug" --James
I didn't know you could "Bank" stamina. I''ll have to try this out. --James
You guys should make this Sticky. A lot of my problems look they'll be resolved. Any word when this will be available? --James
Hear hear! --James
I'd also like to have to NOT type the IP address for my Home LAN, everytime I want to play a MP game. You should have a LAN search function. --James
I'm having the same bugs, Ggibas. I also find it difficult to nigh on impossible to get a multiplayer Fantasy Mode game going. I have a home LAN and can see that the two computers have different stats. E.g. California on one computer has awareness of 35 for each of us, while on the other computer it might have 5. Also, money is screwed up! --James
Please don't tell me he's a Republican... --James
