I have no intention to waste a vote, and I realize it's impact and generally agree with most of what you said. but you also got to pull the donkey, or spank it as Sharpton would say. when you start your post as a question and with your bias so obvious, all the rest of any argument you may make becomes irrelevent. if you actually want to ask a question, ask it. If you want to make a point of persuasion, thata is something else. I stopped reading after your first line because you made it clear you weren't actually interested in another opinion, and even by the title itself. This isn't an open topic, this is christian evangelism.

I think the essence of Kant's imperative regarding a universal morality was not to define one, per se, nor to claim that one in fact exists. I think it was intended more as an attitude to be assumed by individuals as a guide for making moral decisions. This isn't in opposition to your comments, just different I think.
