I have entered a dungeon about azor armor. I killed all the spiders. BTW, the tactical map was a countryside not a dungeon one. I got a message telling me that I got a nice armor and I got a CTD. Here is the dump file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5057853/3b_crash/Elemental0_90-2010-07-18T16-25-56-328.zip

There is a small problem with the heart icon on small pictures for all participants in the battle. As it is on the left, you don't sense easily how many HP left an unit. I think it is more important to see that one unit has few HP left than it has full HP. So it would be nice if that heart icon was on the right side of the picture instead on the left side at it is currently the case.

You have 2 ways to build an improvement on a ressource: - clicking on the ressource and choose the build action - adding the improvement in the build queue of the city Obviously, the first option is the better since the construction of the improvement starts immediately, and the city can build other things meanwhile. You can also have multiple ressources improvements starting immediatly. Sadly, there isn't any information in the second option explaining you tha
Action Points = 1 + Your Combat Speed. Moving a tile uses 2 action points.
Sound nice, but what will happen for plate mail soldier with a CS lower than 1? Are action points rounded toward the nearest integer?
When a unit attacks another unit, that units gets to retaliate (if it can) against the unit that attacked it.
Also interesting is the mention of Gal Civ terms in Elemental (Snathi, Arnor (I think), Dread Lords, etc.) A possible connection between the two worlds perhaps?
well, you should read the backstory about the altarians http://draginol.impulsedriven.net/article/171522/Of_the_Altarians and remember that Drath look like Dragons ;) Among the nice things in this article [quote

By default, the tactical battle is set for 4 units. Sadly, at the beginning of the game, if your sovereign has at least a combat speed of 2, you must fight all battles, especially against spiders which have 25 HP but only a combat speed of 1. You let them come near you. During your turn, you spend 1 action to attack and 1 to move back. That way, you can hurt the spider each turn, without being hit by the spider. So you end the game without any scars. If you choose the a

The tame world spell costs 1 essence and is supposed to give the player the ability to domesticate wild skath for farming. When I was next to a skath, I have tried this spell, on my sovereign or on the skath, but except the message stating that this spell will use essence, nothing seems to have happened and the only choice I have on the skath is to attack him.
As a result of current selection system (I'll refer to compiling list of available research as "pulling" from now on to make it shorter) player has to decide if he wants some crucial "green" research or something rare but optional. I do not know if this is intentional or not, but i find such system lacking.
It is intentional and aimed to throw some variation in research, in order to avoid a perfect research order for each game.
