What I want to do is take 4 windows applications and put them on the desktop. I would like to be able to define how much screen real estate each program takes up. Then I would like to be able to use Desktop X to lay over the top of the windows applications kind of like a skin or frame to make the objects look nice on display. Is this possible? Suggestions? Ideally we would have 2 programs at the top of the screen that take up half the width of the screen for each program and a
