Can't open downloads from the browser as of the latest release in Start Menu Products Stardock Forums

Normally I can click on the download icon in the upper right corner of the browsers (Brave/Chrome, Edge) and open whatever I just downloaded. I can't do that now, not since the last update, none of the icons work and right-clicking to open doesn't work either. I can on another computer that doesn't have this software, I'm not sure where to look for a fix.
