It was mentioned in the Object Dock thread when I asked about the grass theme, and was told it's available only on Quick Launch (or on the Quick Launch dock). I searched for it on this website before posting, and found posts going back a number of years.
I searched this site for an explanation of what Quck Launch is, but I haven't found a description of it. Is it a dock similar to Object Dock? If so, how is it different? I'm asking because I've run into a couple of strange happenings with the Object Dock trial (I clicked in a blank space on a dock, and all the shortcuts in it vanished), so I'm wondering if there's something more stable, easier to use. Thanks for doing this. I followed as much as I could step by step, but there are menu differences in my version. I was able to select a folder of screenshots, which now appears in the choose icon folder list. But when I click on any of the ico or png items, it opens only in Irfanview. When I return to the still open Dock Icon Properties, nothing happens when I click on the change and reset buttons. (Honestly, when I used this software on my old Win 10
Hi, I get the gist of it, but the video isn't clear enough for me to see what you're pointing to on the menus (this with 2 24" monitors), and I looked at it several times. I managed to get to the screen with the Icon selections. But I don't see a "Settings" anywhere to add icon folders.
I used Object Dock on my previous computer (with Win 10). That recently crashed, and I've been trying to get Win 11 set up. I'm now trying out the desktop version of the Object Dock software. There are similarities in the set up from the older version I was using on Win 10. However, I'm writing because I've been unable to select shortcut icons from other than the Object dock app, even though I used them on the older version. They are all .ICO an
