Yes that did it! I did not realize I did not have the software installed as when the mouse was on the machine there was never an issue. Thanks!

Hey Sean, no has nothing to do with the mouse, I have two identical Logi Trackballs, one is used with this software one is used on a work computer. I can swap them same result. It is only noticeable on the machine that it is not connected to, on the primary where it is physically connected the scroll works fine, but when I go to a KVM machine that is where the scroll has issues.

I have version 3.5 and when I go to another computer and try to use my Logitech Trackball scroll wheel the speed is uncontrollable. I use to navigate in windows, to scroll up and down for example. but a simple short movement results looks like I am spinning the wheel like a Deamon. I do not really want to uninstall and try version 4 if it has the same issue. any help would be great it is sad if I have to pay to upgrade for this issue.
