So far so good! The colors seem to be working properly now. I have a tab group with 5 Brave browser profiles. In version 2.2 it would not display the tab colors correctly, but now it does. To test this quickly, I set all of the colors for my tabs then saved a new group. Then I cut the "SavedColour=" line from each entry group in the .groupy file of the new profile into the .groupy file of my original one. For those of you wondering, I did this because I have a LOT of tab

What does V2 have that V1 doesn't? Do the colors work correctly in V1?

I deleted the color values for explorer.exe and c:\windows\explorer.exe and that works for now. [/quote] Thank you for sharing this! The colours are pretty buggy right now, especially when I use them with browser groups. I went ahead and purchased a license because colors are not a dealbreaker for me, but I would re

My main use for Groupy2 is as a replacement for Firefox's containers. So I have multiple Brave profiles set up with Groupy automatically grouping all instances of Brave.exe. This works perfectly, but the colors do not. Each group entry has a unique APPID. For example, with my Brave group the entries look something like this: APPID=Brave.UserData.Profile1 APPID=Brave.UserData.Profile2 The CommandLine= tells each group entry to load a different Brave profile: C
Feedback related to this version: I haven't used any previous version but the tab colors seem to be very buggy. I can set the colors and save a group and when I open the group again the colors aren't saved, or only some of them work. I've tried setting colors in various ways and they don't seem consistent at all.
I'm glad this was able to help others as well. You can also quickly edit any saved group from the Groupy configuration app by going to "Grouping rules" and then "Saved Group". Just right-click on the group you want to edit and pick "Edit saved group".
Just to follow up for people with a similar issue: If you go into the Groupy setting and edit the group, you'll see the .groupy text file with the settings for that group. You can delete the urls for all the tabs you had open when you created the group and they won't automatically open. There needs to be a setting in Groupy to enable or disable this feature but currently there's not. So for example, I have this line: CommandLine= --profile-directory=Default --new-windo
Since nobody else has posted a video I went ahead and made one. I've been using the trial for one day and I've found this bug and another one related to the tab colors. If these two can get fixed before my trial is up I'll definitely buy. I almost just completely gave up on the software and I fear many other people who came across this same issue probably did and never let you know. Hopefully fixing this problem will increase the number of people buying Groupy 2 because it's a pretty cool pro
