For what it's worth, I tried late yesterday the exact instructions that were suggested above (uninstall, reboot immediately, reinstall, reboot) and that appears to have fixed the issue for my two licensed copies of Start11. In both cases, I reinstalled using the beta. I don't know why that worked, or what it did, but it appears to have worked (or at least I haven't been able to reproduce the problem, but I hadn't reported it yet as it's been less than a day). Thanks! On Windows 11. Version info below. Start11 Version 2.52.3 (although I had the same problem with the prior, released version, which is why I tried the beta). Enhanced Taskbar is turned on. Combine taskbar button is set on the Start11 enhanced taskbar setting. Thanks again!
Start11 appears to be great, but there is one problem that makes this EXTREMELY difficult to use. When taskbar buttons are combined (e.g., Outlook and all the open mails), if I hover the cursor over the combined button, it should show a preview of all the combined buttons, as in the attached picture. This works great when the computer starts, but as soon as I click on an active window outside of Start11, there's a high likelihood that when I go back and hover above the combined taskbar button
