Yes after 6 years.... And Windows 11 multi-monitor taskbars is atrocious, you cannot pin anything on them, so we still have a lot of time till Start 11 becomes redundant, if ever. For sure Stardock need to up their game and stay ahead. And still there is no plans from Microsoft for resizable taskbar or small taskbar. I guess a couple of years yet.
Try Windhawk and the module i mentioned, you can change the font and all the content and way it appears. EDIT: I tried and the Windhawk module does not work at all in vertical mode, the original fonts of Start11 remain and you are right, it is too cramped. But you should have been clear from the beginning to explain that you use vertical taskbars. So I guess the ball is in Startdock's camp
You mean something like this? : Install Windhawk and then the Taskbar Clock Customization Mod and you can modify it as your heart desires. Some people would prefer one line and with seconds, some other want a full date. I think since this exists and so many different desires from users, Start11 does not have to bother with it
Just for Information: The last Windows Update from yesterday messed everything in my Multimonitor setup with Start 11, I was not getting any icons on the Start11 taskbar, everything was getting slow and frozen, no matter how many times I restarted Explorer, the Start 11 service and the app. In the end I had to uninstall, reboot and install Start 11 to get back in order. Having lost 2 hours of work, from now on I will be always re-install Start 11 after a Windows Update to be on the safe side.
I had always a small issue, and since you ironed out most of the problems, here is the issue (probably has to do with Windows). When I switch monitor setup, i.e. from a 6 monitor with one of them Portrait (Nr4) and resized taskbar to 2 lines on that monitor, to a 4 monitor setup (all landscape), then the monitor (nr 5- inversed landscape) picks up the setting of the taskbar and moves to 2 lines. When I switch back to 6 monitors the monitor 5 remains in 2 lines and I have to resi
The latest update Start11_2.5.5.3-j224-Setup_sd messed things up for me, I had to revert to the previous one, I am glad I keep copies and recommend this to everyone who tries the betas. It will be difficult to explain and reproduce, hence the link with the video. In only 2 of my 5 secondary monitors (it is ok on the primary one) the thumbnails do not appear on top of the icon on the taskbar but are all on the left side of the screen. It is working correctly in the previous version.</p
"Fixes a problem with right clicking to the left of the start button on a secondary taskbar when the taskbar is set to centred with enhanced taskbar enabled" Thank you for the quick fix, this is also working fine now
A small bug I have discovered, on the secondary taskbars, centered, right clicking on the taskbar on the left of the start button does nothing, I have to click on the right side of the icons to get the Start11 menu. Latest 2.55 Beta and Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4946)
